Why Jacquard, Why 450 GSM
The difference between a graphic printed on a garment and a graphic that is the garment.
A printed sweater is a sweater with a picture on it. A jacquard sweater is a picture made out of sweater. The yarn carries the design; the design carries the yarn. Pull a thread and you are pulling the image apart, because they are the same object.
Four colors means four yarn feeds working at once on the knitting bed, floats carried on the reverse, tension held so the letters do not bow or pucker across the chest. It is slower and it costs more and there is no way to fake it in post.
Then there is weight. 450 GSM is the line where a knit stops being a t-shirt with ambitions and starts having architecture. It holds a shoulder. It falls instead of clinging. It reads as a garment across a room, which matters when the garment is meant to start a conversation from across a room.
Low batch, as always. No restock, no markdown. If it is here, it is here now.
