"What Does That Mean?"
A short field guide to the question you will get wearing the XX–XY Jacquard Sweater.
You will get asked. Usually around the second drink, usually by somebody who has been glancing at your chest for ten minutes trying to work out whether they are allowed to say something.
Answer one: it is chromosomes. XX, XY. Biology. Fully accurate, slightly boring, ends the conversation in four seconds if that is what you want.
Answer two: it is the argument. Sports, policy, identity, the whole running fight over who counts as what and who gets to decide. Longer conversation. Bring patience.
Answer three, and our favorite: "It is a sweater." Delivered flat. Let them sit with it. Half the point of the garment is that it does not owe anybody a thesis statement.
The construction is the honest part. 55% cotton, 45% polyester, 450 GSM jacquard knit, four-color knitted design, relaxed unisex fit, built for cool weather and layering. Heavy enough to feel expensive, not so heavy you are dressed like a weighted blanket. Everything else is up to the room.
